So many jobs—from manufacturing to the innovation economy—are inherently global. It’s hard to imagine that a person’s first experience working with an international counterpart must wait until one’s professional career starts. Many states have forged international exchange programs to ensure students have not only global knowledge and skills, but also experiences, which will prepare them for the future workplace.
